Make Your Own Lunch?
December 18, 2008 | Leave a Comment
It’s time to start getting what you want out of school, work, your relationship and life in general. It’s time to Make Your Own Lunch? (Hint: it has NOTHING to do with actual food!)
Do you remember when you were a kid and eating your lunch at school? Do you remember what it was like opening up that ‘G.I. Joe’ or My ‘Little Pony’ lunchbox with anticipation and excitement of what goodies would be inside? Were you ever disappointed when you opened you lunch to find that the cookies and cupcakes were replaced with carrots and celery? That, my friends, is called “lunch bag letdown”; when you open your lunch to find out it’s not what you expected!
I remember going home after school one day in elementary school, after an extreme case of lunch bag letdown. I burst into the kitchen and told my mom how much I hated the lunch she made for me and how disappointed I was when I opened it at school. Her response, “if you don’t like what I make, make your own lunch!”
And I did. The next day, Chef Ryan Porter (He is not an ACTUAL chef, check out , youth motivational speaker can show you how! www.ryanspeaks.com
