If you are embarking on your entrepreneurial journey and you have not yet begun promoting your business opportunity to others it is something you may hear very soon.
You see there is a misunderstanding by some people that the reward systems in MLM organisations are unique. They believe that it's only possible to make money in this industry if you 'get in' at the beginning. However, this is not true and these compensation plans are not unique. In fact these same rules for rewarding staff apply in all organisations. Take a look at Microsoft, HSBC, BP, Coca Cola, Google and Disney. In fact try to name a company where the people at the 'bottom' make most of the money.
In 2006 a survey concluded that the average worker in the US would have to work for an entire YEAR to earn what an average CEO would earn in a single day! The truth is that a few people earn most of the money in EVERY industry. It is totally unfair to single out the MLM industry and claim the business model is flawed because people at the top make all the money when the same can be proven in any industry.
Instead of complaining that compensation structures are unfair, why not work toward being one of the wealthy. This is possible because the reward system within MLM, network marketing and Direct Sales rewards production. Within this industry if you do nothing you earn nothing. If you do a little you'll earn a little and if you do a lot, you guessed it, you can earn a fortune.
I want you to imagine a moment that we start a company where we reward the people who contribute the least with the biggest salaries. Do you think it would work? You see this industry pays people based on their performance. So how many people in a company can achieve $100K per month? The answer to this is simple, however many people perform to that standard! You see when you joined the company has little relevance to your earnings compared with the amount of work and effort you put in as a distributor for the company. In fact this is the only industry that I am aware of that you can come join a company years after your sponsor and yet you can earn far more than they do. To prove this there are distributors that I brought into the company years after I got started, who make more money than I do. I am also unaware of any company where it is the first distributor that joined who earns most of the most money!
There are no restrictions placed on anyone. Organisations are not interested in your background, only your performance. A person can join a business at any time and earn more income than anyone else in the company. Now, that IS unique, and unlike traditional businesses. This is the fairest rewards system that there could possibly be and flies in the face of those who complain.
So if you are searching for financial freedom there is only 2 things to do. Find an organisation that suits you and secondly but more importantly, GET TO WORK!
